Born on July 22, 1987, Andrey Golubev embarked on his tennis journey at the age of 6.
In 2002, he relocated to Italy, where he honed his skills before making Tarpon Area his home in 2023.
Currently residing in Odessa at Starley Ranch with his wife and 4-year-old son, Andrey is a versatile individual fluent in four languages:
English, Russian, Italian, and Spanish.

Andrey's junior career highlights include being an integral part of the National Team in the U14, U16, and U18 categories. For nearly 15 years, he played a pivotal role in the national team of Kazakhstan, contributing to multiple Davis Cup quarterfinal appearances and representing his country at the Tokyo Olympics Games.
In 2014, Andrey achieved a significant milestone by clinching a Gold Medal in the team competition at the Asian Games, the second most prestigious event in Asia after the Olympics.


Throughout his career, Andrey participated in numerous Grand Slam events, gracing iconic arenas like Arthur Ashe in NY and Wimbledon's center court. He faced off against tennis legends such as Djokovic, Murray, Nadal, and Federer, leaving an indelible mark on the sport.
Recognized for his remarkable progress, Andrey was awarded the "Most Improved Player of the Year" in 2010, joining the ranks of esteemed players like Djokovic, Alcaraz, Becker, McEnroe, Agassi, Sampras, Edberg, and Nadal.
